These heads, I would say, have been made in different styles! I really like the dashed line in the jaw of number 2. Do add that in your mental toolbox of digital illustrating. Number 12 is a good experiment, even though it's not a master piece :) Numbers 3 and 9 are good examples how to give some life with simple use of line. Remember that also in shapes... I mean you could use that kind of lines when working mostly with shapes. Keep it going!
